Kate Branch is a Chief Marketing Officer for Emerald City Hotels who brings brands to life through integrated storytelling and design. As part of her Masters in Art and Psychodynamics at the University of Western Sydney, Kate completed a major project exploring how identity shapes the way people choose and connect with brands. And while this informs her strategic thinking, she also designs websites, runs community events, and manages brand socials within the Emerald City Hotels Portfolio including The Albert Mosman, Dalziel Lodge and Mosman Bride.

Web design with Purpose

Kate designs the websites herself, knowing they are the shop window of the business, always evolving and needing updates. A website is more than a digital front door; it reflects the brand’s values, identity, and experience. I’ve designed each of the Emerald City Hotels’ websites, ensuring every site tells its own story while staying aligned with the guest experience and brand. It’s not just design- it’s strategy, storytelling, and clarity.

Content creation

Kate handles the majority of content creation personally, understanding that large teams can be expensive and slow. Staying nimble allows her to maintain a strategic, bird’s-eye view of every project, while bringing in specialists only when extra scale or expertise is required.

    Partnerships

She manages partnerships and has worked as creative director across many campaigns, strategically combining media budgets to secure stronger coverage and consistent brand alignment.

    Community events

Kate also leverages community management and events to foster meaningful connections between brands and their audiences. Mosman Bride, now in its second year, is Emerald City Hotels’ most successful community and networking event, reflecting both her vision and hands-on approach.
